Saturday morning, while I was off at day camp registration day, Dode was at home holding down the fort. Janice called and said she had extra tickets to watch a gymnastic competition in Everett from Comcast's box seat. She wanted to know if Elizabeth was interested in attending. She's such an easy going girl. She was quite excited to go, in fact she was jumping up in down in the kitchen when she heard she was going somewhere. She thought she was going fishing but when she heard that she was going to a gymnastics competition she was still happy to go. Her grandma Sharon was also going so she picked up Elizabeth on the way to Everett. They got pretty spoiled in their box seat.

Elizabeth is hopeful that she was good company and will be invited again to do something fun with Janice. One thing I know, she'll have a hard time going back to the cheap seats!
Girls' retreat
Friday night, Anastaya stayed at school for the 8th grade girls' retreat. Some of the female teachers plan an overnight event where the girls learn about self esteem and how media presents a false idea about beauty and worth.
